Iced Matcha Lemonade Recipe

This easy iced matcha lemonade recipe is super refreshing, tangy and just the right amount of sweet!

It’s literally ready in seconds and is the best ever Starbucks copycat recipe.

Not only will you save a ton of money making this at home, but you’ll also have total control over how sweet or tangy you want it!

This is such an easy recipe to make again and again all summer long!

Ingredients:

  • Matcha – While any brand will do, Ceremonial Matcha is my favorite to use. This means it is appropriate for traditional Japanese tea ceremonies, and it has a subtler, slightly sweeter taste, and a more vibrant color.
  • Lemon Juice – Fresh squeezed is a must for this recipe!
  • Maple Syrup – You can also use Agave, or Honey if you eat it.

What Does Matcha Lemonade Taste Like?

Matcha lemonade is absolutely delicious – it has a tangy, sweet and slightly earthy taste, all in the best way possible.

It’s literally the perfect summertime drink with a boost of caffeine.

It is also a popular drink at Starbucks, but I love making homemade versions at home as well!

What are Some Benefits of Matcha?

Matcha green tea powder is not only high in antioxidants, but also helps to protect your liver, boosts brain function, promotes heart health and much more!

How to Make Starbucks Copycat Matcha Lemonade

Blending the Green Tea Lemonade

This Starbucks copycat matcha lemonade really is so easy to make at home!

All you do is add all your ingredients to a blender (or use a milk frother) and blend until smooth.

Make sure the matcha is dissolved and you’re done!

Adjust to taste if you’d like, and then pour into a cup filled with ice.

Serving Matcha Lemonade

While I love serving my matcha drink with lemon wedges and mint leaves, there are so many other options too.

Add in your favorite berries, cucumber slices, basil leaves, or any other fruity juice.

This drink is super delicious on its own, while also totally customizable!

I recommend enjoying this drink immediately after blending – the matcha may eventually start to separate a bit from the lemonade if it sits for awhile.
